The Cosmopolitan was made for events. When Juan Bandini built the original adobe home, he did it with an eye to entertaining. He loved to dance, so he installed wooden floors in the Grand Sala where his friends and neighbors could join him for elaborate days-long parties. The Bandini home and later the Cosmopolitan was very much the social center of early San Diego where old and young, wealthy and poor could come and celebrate together.
We invite you to add your party to this long tradition. Whether you are celebrating with just a few friends or with 300+, the Cosmopolitan will welcome you and your guests with open arms and huge smiles. Just the way Juan would have.
